This exceptional non-fiction picture book is a refreshing way to look at the water cycle. Miranda Paul uses a young family with two energetic, outdoor-loving children to illustrate the different forms of water throughout the seasons of the year. The end of the book features more information about water, as well as suggestions for further reading and a bibliography.
I recommend this book for classrooms of libraries to use with children studying the water cycle. It is not the traditional boring, circular depiction.
