The main characters in this story are a grandmother and her grandson. I always feel that books that show strong relationships between older and younger generations are so valuable. CJ and his Nana have a Sunday tradition of boarding a bus after church and traveling to the last stop on Market Street. CJ is an inquisitive child who wonders why his life is different from some of his friends and other children that he envies.

Through everyday situations, his Nana makes him realize how special and beautiful his own world is. This book features diverse characters and makes the reader appreciate the variety in the world around us.
