This is a fun picture book about the love between a boy and his dog. Ben thinks that Buster is the best dog ever, but when there are dogprints on the walls, and chewed up slippers, Mom and Dad don’t necessarily agree. Which is why Buster ends up staying with Grandpa while the family goes on vacation.
Ben writes notes, and postcards to help Grandpa take care of Buster. Many children will have their own ideas and thoughts to add to all the ideas Ben has. The illustrations are fun, and the story is endearing, and it even features dog farts, which will get lots of childish laughter.
